The Youngstown State football coaching staff will be holding its annual Bob Dove Day of Football coaching clinic on Saturday, April 6 at Stambaugh Stadium. Registration is $10 by April 3 or $15 the day of the event.
The Penguins will welcome area high school and youth coaches to Stambaugh Stadium and they can get actively involved with the coaching staff. Registration starts at 7:30 a.m. and buzz sessions with the YSU position coaches start at 8 a.m.
Coaches can join the YSU staff during their position meetings from 9-10 a.m. and then be on field for the team's scrimmage that will start at 10:15 a.m.
Following the scrimmage, the coaching staff and participants will have lunch at the MVR to discuss coaching systems and schemes.
The members of YSU's coaching staff feature impressive resumes and all have solid coaching backgrounds. The Penguins' head coach Eric Wolford will be entering his fourth season with the program this fall.
The offensive staff features coordinator Shane Montgomery, offensive line coach Carmen Bricillo, tight end coach Mark Mangino, wide receivers coach Kurt Beatherd and running backs coach Eric Gallon.
The defensive staff features coordinator Joe Tresey, defensive line coach Tom Sims, linebackers coach Ron Stoops, assistant linebackers coach and special teams coordinator Jamie Bryant and cornerbacks coach Glenn Davis.
Of the 10 members on the coaching staff, eight have coached at the BCS level at some point during their careers.

Tentative Schedule
7:30-9 a.m. - Registration
8-9 a.m. - Buzz sessions with YSU position coaches
9-10 a.m. - All-access to YSU player and coaches position meetings
10:15 a.m. - Scrimmage
12:30 p.m. - Lunch and breakout sessions at MVR
